The University of Maine is a public land-grant research university in Orono, Maine. It was established in 1865 as the land-grant college of Maine and is the Flagship University of the University of Maine System. It is classified among “R2: Doctoral Universities – High research activity”.

To be eligible for Maine Global Partner Scholarship, International students graduating from high schools in the state of Maine with a high school CGPA of 3.0 and aboveThis honor is not open to international transfer students. Graduate students are not eligible for this honor. Sponsored students are not eligible for this honor.
