2021 Admission: JAMB cut off-mark for university 2021/2022 admission: Do you know JAMB cut off-mark for this year 2021? The cut off-mark for this year 2021 admission is 160 in all universities in The country.

Joint admission and matriculation board, JAMB has released cut off-mark for this year for both university, polytechnic and colleges.

The minimum cut off marks suggested by JAMB for admissions into public universities, private universities, public polytechnic, private polytechnics and colleges of education are 160140120, 110 and 100 respectively.

  • Public Universities — 160
  • Private Universities — 140
  • For Public Polytechnics — 120
  • Private Polytechnics — 110
  • Colleges of Education — 100
  • Innovation Enterprise — 100

This was disclosed by Registrar, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, who says that polytechnics cut-off mark was put at 120 and above while that of the Colleges of Education stands at 100 and above.

These decisions were taken at the 2021 Combined Policy Meetings on Admissions into Tertiary Institutions in Nigeria.

JAMB Registrar, Prof. Is-haq Oloyede said institutions, with the decision, are not to go below the minimum cut-off points adopted at the meeting for admissions.

According to him, “What JAMB has done is to recommend; We will only determine the minimum, whatever you determine as your admission cut-off mark is your decision.

That means, only 1,157,977 candidates had the required five credits with English and Mathematics that sat for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations last year

Oloyede also added that candidates waiting for their results will only be considered when they are uploaded on jamb official website.
